Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have called on members of the party to utilise the remaining 28-day window period to register in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
The APC Chairman of Lagos State, Mr Cornelius Ojelabi made the call in a communique issued at the end of its inaugural meeting in Abuja.
According to Ojelabi, this was the first meeting of the forum since their election and re-election during the March congresses of the APC.
The Forum used the opportunity to congratulate President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the candidate of the party for the 2027 general election.
The Chairmen sympathised with the families and victims of insecurity across the nation and commended the efforts of President Tinubu in addressing the menace.
They also commended the Progressives Governors Forum for its continued support for the President and leadership of the APC Chairmen’s Forum, led by Mr .Ojelabi and Mr Aliyu Bello as acting Secretary of forum.
The Forum further pledged to continue working assiduously to promote the growth and unity of the party.
