The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake has commiserated with Governor and people of Ekiti State over the shocking transition of the APC chairman, Paul Omotosho.
This is contained in a statement signed by him in Abuja.
The statement describes Omotosho’s death as a big loss to the ruling party and his community, adding that his sacrifices towards the survival of the party will inspire many to continue his good works.
“In his death, we have lost a dogged democrat, a fair-minded adjudicator, a consummate grassroots politician, and a party man to the core.” Dr. Alake stated.
” With deep sympathy and submission to the will of God, I join the good people of Ekiti State to commiserate with Governor Biodun Oyebanji over the shocking transition to eternal glory of our ever hardworking, patriotic and populist political leader and efficient party administrator, Paul Omotosho” he adds.
According to the statement Omotosho’s transition is a gentle reminder that all men are destined to mortality.
“It is also an opportunity to celebrate his good deeds in the service of our dear party, the All Progressives Congress. Indeed, when we remember the harrowing suffering of his kidnap, an ordeal he faced with courage and grace: and how he put himself to the service of the party to ensure the historic victory of the party in all the elections held under his leadership, we cannot but salute his heroism and commitment to the people’s cause” the Minister notes.
“I sympathise with the Kabiyesi and the people of Imesi-Ile on this irreparable loss and pray for the repose of his gentle soul”.
