Organizers of the 13th edition of African games in Ghana has released match schedules of the men’s football event.
Coach Ladan Bosso’s tutored team will kick-off their campaign today against Uganda at the Accra Sports Stadium by 8 pm Nigerian time in their first game.
The clash will be a rematch of the recent Africa U-20 Cup of Nations clash between the Flying Eagles and Hippos which Nigeria won 1-0.
Nigeria will play their second group game on the 11th of March, 2024, when they take on South Sudan and the last encounter is with Senegal on 15th March, 2024.
All matches will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium in Accra Ghana.

Flying Eagles are housed in group B of the 13th African games football event alongside Uganda, Senegal and South Sudan.
Nigeria emerged runners-up of the men’s football event of the 12th African Games held in Rabat, Morocco in October 2019, losing to Burkina Faso in the final.
Meanwhile, coach Ladan Bosso says his team is battle ready for their first Group B fixture at the African Games 2023.
“We have prepared a lot for this competition,” Bosso told a press conference.
“The players are disciplined and ready for action.We are not only counting on the talents of the players but also the support of the Nigerians living here in Ghana to encourage and support the boys.”
Nigeria last won won gold medal in the football event at the Africa Games in 1973.
