Senate Begins Screening Of Ministerial Nominees

Senate has begun screening and confirmation of ministerial nominees, presented by President Bola Tinubu for consideration and approval.

16 of the nominees have been slated for screening today.

The nominees listed are : Sen.Abubakar Kyari – (Borno State) Abubakar Eshiokpekha Momoh – (Edo State),Nyesom Wike – (Rivers State ),Prof. Joseph Utsev – (Benue State),Sen. John Enoh -( Cross River)

Others are Bello Muhammad (Sokoto), Mohammed Abubakar – (Jigawa State)Amb.Yusuf Maitama – (Bauchi State),Sen. Abubakar Danladi – (Taraba)Uju-Ken Ohaneye ( Anambra),Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Ondo).

Others are Dr. Betta Edu (Cross River), Iman Sulaiman (Nasarawa), Ahmed Musa Dangiwa – Katsina State Chief Uche Geoffrey Nnaji(Enugu) and Stella Okotete ( Delta)

Earlier, the Senate had suspended its rule to allow the nominees and other visitors into the chamber to commence the process..
