A Federal High Court in Abuja has imposed a fine of N5M on the Department of State Service, DSS, over the unlawful arrest and detention of an Abuja based commercial driver, Sanusi Shuaib. The Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democratic Party seeking to upturn the electoral victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State. The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal by the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Ovie Omo-Agege against the election of the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
