Strait Of Hormuz Will Not Remain Open If US Blockade Continues – Iran

Iran’s Parliament Supeaker says the Strait of Hormuz will not remain open if the US blockade of Iranian ports continues

US President Donald Trump says the blockade will continue until a peace deal is reached, adding the waterway is open and ready for business.

Earlier, Iran’s foreign minister had said the Strait of Hormuz was completely open to commercial ships for the remainder of the ceasefire, but tracking data shows very few vessels actually transited through it.

President Trump emphasised  that Iran has agreed to everything, including the removal of enriched uranium from the country to the US , but Iran denies the claim.

Meanwhile ,Oil prices fell by nearly 10% after Iran’s announcement – but analysts warn there could be a hot to prices that outlast hostilities.
