Kapital FM 92.9 The Station that Rocks!
The President of FCT Baptist Conference, Rev. Dogara Gwana says the forthcoming 113th Annual Session of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, NBC, starting this weekend at Baptist International Convention Centre, BICC, Kubwa Abuja will boost economic activities in the nation’s capital.
Rev Dogara Gwana stated this while featuring on a TV station ahead of the Convention in Abuja.
He said about thirty thousand Messengers from all across Nigeria and other countries of the World are expected to attend the convention.
According to him, the General Secretary of the Baptist World Alliance will be coming from the United States of America alongside other Messengers from the United Kingdom and other African countries like Cote D’Ivoire, Ghana among others.
“In an event of this nature that will be attracting Messengers from across Nigeria and the World, you’ll agree with me that hotels accomodations will be needed, transport operators will be engaged, food vendors and other business owners in Kubwa and the FCT in general will also be at the convention ground to display and sells their goods thereby contributing to the economic activities and development in the Federal Capital Territory” Rev. Gwana stated
The President of FCT Baptist Conference explained that necessary measures have already been put in place towards ensuring the success of the Convention.
He emphasized that the six days event would feature worship, teachings from the bible, thanksgiving, prayers for Nigeria and its leadership among others.
While wishing all Messengers to the Convention a safe trip, Rev. Dogara Gwana expressed the hope that the event would further strengthen the spiritual growth of the participants and attract divine blessings into their lives and endeavours.
