Kwali Area Council Chairman Appoints New Councillors, Special Advisers

The Chairman of Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory, Mr Danladi Chiya has appointed new Supervisory Councillors and Special Advisers.

Speaking during the swearing -in in Kwali Abuja, Mr Chiya said their appointment was as a result of the resignation of former appointees who are preparing to contest in the forthcoming FCT Area Council election.

He advised them to use their offices for the progress of the area.

In a remark, the Speaker of the Council’s Legislative Arm, Mr Nihu Daniel also enjoined the newly appointees not to betray the confidence reposed in them.

Speaking on behalf of the appointees, the Supervisory Councillor for Works and Infrastructural Development, Alhaji Abdullahi Kaura promised to contribute their quota to the development of the area.
