Value Reorientation Key To National Development-Information Minister

The federal government has advocated value reorientation for the citizenry.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed Idris stated this during the 2025 budget defence of the ministry before the Senate committee on information in Abuja.

He told the lawmakers that value reorientation was key to the development of the country, which the Ministry is always spearheading.

Mr Idris explained that being a service ministry, they would continue to enlighten the citizens on the policies and programs of the government.

He stressed the need for the citizens to key into the reforms and Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.

The Minister also said that the ministry has reconstituted the Town Hall committee to take to the doorsteps of the citizens the policies and programs of government as well as get feedback.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation, senator Kenneth Eze, in his remarks said the Senate was committed to supporting the agencies under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation in driving the Policies and Programmes of the Present administration in achieving its Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Director General of FRCN was accompanied to the Budget Defence by the Director Finance and Accounts, Mallam Musa Bako, Director of Engineering Services, Mallam Sanda Askira, Director Corporate Development and Communication, Osana Omame and Director Administration, Mrs Adedeji Ayeni.
