The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba, has attributed youth restiveness and moral decadence in the country to the failure of government, religious, political, and traditional leaders to carry out their responsibilities diligently.

Addressing over three thousand delegates at this year’s Anglican Youth conference in Abuja, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba said most leaders are not living by example, thereby discouraging youths from giving their best to the country.

He urged the youths to get involved in activities that would bring generational transformation to the African continent.

According to the Anglican Primate, when youths believe in the country and become agents of change, the country will experience peace, unity, and growth.

Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba assured that the Church would continue to provide necessary skills and support towards the development of youths irrespective of their religious beliefs

In a goodwill message, the former Primate, Most Reverend Nicholas Okoh urged youths to resist evil, believe in the country, and shun vices that are inimical to their well-being.

He reminded them that they are the soldiers of Christ and great evangelists of the present and future generations.

The Five day annual program with the theme “My Identity” taken from the book of Colossians 2:8-23 is part of the programs of the Anglican church to build the youths for the task ahead.
