Economy : NCPC Boss Wants Nigs To Be Optimistic

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite wants Nigerians not to allow the present dwindling economic situation affect their faith in God and love for the country. It 

The NCPC Scribe made the call during a courtesy visit to the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Archbishop Daniel Okoh in Abuja.

Bishop Adegbite also called on Nigerians to exercise patience and be optimistic that things would definitely turn around for good in the country.

He further urged Nigerians to pray for those at the helm of affairs as President Bola Tinubu has good intentions for the country.

The NCPC helmsman averred that he would use NCPC to foster unity among citizens of the country.

He assured that the
Commission would collaborate with CAN to make Pilgrimage a life transforming experience.

According to him NCPC is planning to sponsor pilgrims to the Holy land, especially those who are disadvantaged and yearning for spiritual growth.

In his remarks, the President, Christian Association of Nigeria, Archbishop Daniel Okoh described the NCPC boss as a defender of the Faith and a co- labourer in the vineyard of God.

His Eminence thanked God for the appointment of Bishop Stephen Adegbite as the Executive Secretary of NCPC saying his tenure will provide opportunity for more christians to visit the holy land.

The President of CAN said he was aware of the challenges facing the Commission in terms of funding and other issues but however, promised to continue to uphold the Commission in prayer.

He urged him to continue to preach unity so that the Commission would leverage on it, to bring all Christians under one body.

He prayed for the success of the government of President Bola TInubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi TInubu.
