Background

The Commandant General of Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service, NHFSS, Ambassador Joshua Osatimehin has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the Supreme Court.

In a congratulatory message to the President in Abuja, Ambassador Osatimehin said the Supreme Court ruling this Thursday was a victory for democracy.

While expressing confidence in the ability of President Bola Tinubu to perform, Ambassador Osatimehin stated that the victory marked the beginning of better things to come for Nigeria and Nigerians.

President Bola Tinubu who is a two term Governor of Lagos State, well experienced in politics and an astute Administrator no doubt has the capacity to change Nigeria for better hence the need for all us most especially the political class to rally around him to succeed in his developmental programmes for Nigeria” the Commander General of NHFSS stressed.

He urged other political parties and politicians to effectively support President Bola Tinubu towards repositioning the country for greatness.

Ambassador Osatimehin therefore advised President Bola Tinubu not to relent in delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians in line with his Renewed Hope Agenda for the country.

He reiterated the commitment of NHFSS towards supporting all security efforts of President Bola Tinubu’s led administration in combating banditry, kidnapping, boko haram, terrorism and other forms of criminality in the country.

Ambassador Osatimehin therefore used the opportunity to appeal to President Bola Tinubu to sign the NHFSS Bill before him into law to further strengthen the security apparatus of the country.

According to him, constitutional recognition of NHFSS will go a long way in the fight against insecurity in the country.
