Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has strongly condemned the recent attack on the Anguwar Dankali community in Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where four people were killed and five others injured.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, the Speaker expresses his outrage over the incident and calls on security agencies to take decisive action against the perpetrators.

“The attack, suspected to have been carried out by bandits, saw the assailants open fire on the community, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and causing injuries to five others”.

“Additionally, the bandits abducted five individuals, but they managed to escape when security operatives arrived at the scene and engaged the attackers in a gun battle,” he says.

Dr. Abbas emphasizes that enough is enough when it comes to the killings in Zaria and other parts of the country.

He urges security agencies to swiftly and decisively deal with the criminals responsible for these acts of violence.

The Speaker expresses his deep condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the people and government of Kaduna State, in the wake of the tragic incident.

While recalling a similar attack in August that claimed the lives of some of his constituents, the Speaker stresses the importance of protecting and safeguarding the lives of Nigerians, as enshrined in the country’s constitution.
