Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has called on the Federal Government to closely monitor the distribution of palliatives for the fuel subsidy removal and ensure it gets to the ordinary people.

Addressing the congregation at a special program on Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary in Abuja, Most Reverend Ndukuba commended the present administration for coming up with good measures to alleviate the plight of citizens hence the need for good implementation.

He emphasized that though the country has not done badly in the last 63 years, the political class should support efforts at bringing the economy back on track.

The Anglican Primate also stressed the need for President Bola Tinubu to continue carrying everyone along, ensure justice and equal distribution of resources.

According to him, every Nigerian will support the administration if there is justice in the appointments into key positions.

Primate Ndukuba also challenged the Media to be the vanguard of democracy and always put the government on its toes.

Also speaking the immediate former Primate, Nicholas Okoh appealed to the government to pay special attention to youth empowerment and give them vital roles to play in nation-building.

Most Reverend Okoh however urged the youths not to allow the outcome of the last general election to affect their full participation in the country:s ‘spolitics..
