Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly apologised to Napoli coach Rudi Garcia following his outburst on the touchlines during the team’s 0-0 draw on Sunday’s Serie A game at Bologna.
Osimhen earlier had the chance to put Napoli ahead from the penalty spot but saw his effort go wide.
He was later subbed off by Garcia and replaced by Giovanni Simeone in the 86 minute, but Napoli could not get a winning goal.
Frustrated with the decision, Osimhen directed his anger towards Garcia as he made his way to the touchline.

The Nigerian made gestures which indicated he thought having two strikers on the pitch would have been beneficial for his team in the closing stages of the game.
However, Napoli’s leading goalscorer apologised in the changing room of the Dall’Ara immediately after the full-time whistle according to reports from Calciomercato.com.
Osimhen was spotted training on Monday morning with his teammates.
Napoli are currently three games without a victory and will hope to avoid going four consecutive matches in the league without a win.
Up next for Osimhen and his Napoli teammates is a home clash with Udinese on Wednesday.
The Super Eagles striker has not scored in his last four games in all competitions for Napoli.
Osimhen has so far only registered three goals for the reigning Serie A Champions this season.
