The congress also approved the change of name of the Nigeria Professional Football League to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
A vote of confidence was passed on the Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation led by Ibrahim Musa Gusau during the congress.
However, they were conspicuously silent over the fate of Super Falcons Coach, Randy Waldrum whose contract with the federation ended in August after he led the team to the Round 16 of the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
