New AGF Assures Nigerians Of Better Justice Delivery

The Federal Ministry of Justice has restated its commitment to uphold the justice system and restore the confidence of Nigerians in the judiciary.

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abdulateef Olasunkami Fagbemi, made the call while addressing newsmen as he assumed duty at the ministry in Abuja.

Fagbemi said he was going to build on the existing legal framework within the ambit of the law to sustain the rule of justice which is the only hope for the common man.

He however stressed his readiness to work in collaboration with all stakeholders and sister agencies to consolidate on his mandate to enhance and sustain justice delivery.

The AGF also warned that he will not tolerate any form of indiscipline or breach of protocol among staff of the ministry.

On her part, the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Mrs Beatrice Jedda-Agba assured the new Minister of every support needed for sustainable justice delivery in line with global best practices.

She however called on all heads of Parastatals Departments and Agencies under the ministry to do more in supporting the new administration for balanced justice delivery to all Nigerians.
