NSCDC Will Ensure Vandals Are Flushed Out Of FCT – Odumosu

The new Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, FCT Command, Mr Olusola Odumosu says the Corps will not rest on its oars to ensure that vandals are flushed out of the FCT.

Commandant Odumosu stated this while taking over from the former Commandant, Peter Maigari in Abuja.

The new FCT Commandant who thanked the Commandant General Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi for the opportunity said his administration would surmount security challenges especially in the areas of government critical infrastructure in the FCT and warned unscrupulous elements to desist from crime or face the full wrath of the law.

According to him, the command would embark on visibility policing of government infrastructure by the deployment of more personnel as well as increase day and night patrol in the FCT.

Mr Odumosu charged officers and men of the corps to remain professional in the discharge of their duties stressing that he would provide the necessary environment to enhance the execution of their operational tasks.

Earlier, the outgoing FCT Commandant, Peter Maigari commended the Commandant General for giving him the platform to discharge his duties and urged personnel of the FCT Command to remain undaunted in their duties to boost the confidence and operational efficiency of the Corps.
