Thd Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, has pledged readiness to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development, not only in the Niger Delta Region but also, in the entire Country.
This is contained in a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of PANDEF, Dr. Ken Robinson in Abuja.
The statement says the apex socio-cultural body of the Niger Delta people, is set to deliberate on the State of the Nation; recent
socio-political developments in the Region and the Country, in general.
It adds that the Forum intends looking at the extant situation of Federal Agencies with direct bearing on the Niger Delta, Road Infrastructure, and other related issues.
“We remain strongly committed to the promotion of peace, unity, and sustainable development, not only in the Niger Delta Region but also, in the entire Country.
The statement stresses that members of the Forum and critical Stakeholders from the Coastal States of the Niger Delta Region will be meeting to work out modalities and proffer solutions by initiating steps to strengthen its structures, for greater service delivery.
