Adequate Personnel, Logistics, Deployed For Hitch Free Sallah – FRSC FCT

The Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC FCT Command says adequate personnel and logistics have been deployed for hitch free Sallah special patrol in the Six Area councils of the territory.

New Sector Commander Mr Chorrie Muta”a who stated this while speaking with Newsmen in Abuja said the command would extend Patrol till late in the night during the special operations.

Mr Muta’a maintained that all the unit commanders across the Six Area councils have been directed to increase visibility in all the routes leading to worship and recreation Centers during the Sallah celebration.

According to him, Tow trucks, Patrol vehicles and ambulances have been deployed to all strategic locations to ensure free flow of traffic.

The New Sector commander stressed that adequate sensitisation have been embarked upon in all motor Parks on the need for commercial drivers to avoid overloading, overspeeding, wrongful overtaking and intake of alcoholic drinks.

He however appealed to road users to give maximum cooperation to FRSC towards ensuring safety of lives and property on the highways.

The sector commander assured that personnel have been stationed in all the four entry and exit points to ensure that travellers have a smooth passage through the Federal Capital Territory.
