The Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, has refuted a “LinkedIn Account” created in the name of the Executive Secretary, Shehu Ahmad Hadi, by some unscrupulous persons to defraud the Public over a contract.

This is contained in a statement by the Authority in Abuja.

The statement says they are using it to solicit the co-operation of the public for execution of contracts in FCDA.

The statement urges the Public to be informed that those posts purportedly for a procurement exercise are not from the FCDA.

According to Hadi, “My office has a clearly defined procurement process, so i cannot on my own request for tenders/award contracts on the social media.Kindly disregard any requests emanating from me on the social media.

“Apparently, this is designed to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.I have reported this to the security agencies and investigations are underway. Don’t fall prey to scammers.” Hadi warned.
