The Corps Marshall, Federal Road Safety Corps, Dauda Ali-Biu has appealed to motorists to always abide by traffic rules for safer roads during and after the Christmas celebration.

Dauda Ali-Biu while monitoring the traffic situation along the Zuba -Kaduna Expressway said adequate personnel and logistics have been deployed to all identified routes to ensure the free flow of traffic.
He stressed that the special operation that commenced nationwide would be used to check the excesses of motorists.
The Corps Marshal emphasized the need for trailers and other articulated vehicles to avoid overloading, overspeeding, dangerous driving, and night journeys.
The Acting President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Isa Ore said members have been adequately sensitized on the need to give maximum cooperation to FRSC for effective traffic management during the yuletide.
According to the NURTW President, a Special Task Force has been constituted in all major motor parks to check non-intake of alcoholic drinks. ALSO READ: Traffic Violations : FRSC Mobile Court Commences Sitting

Also, the President, National Association of Transport Owners, NATO, Yusuf Othman said the Organization was ready to support all efforts toward reducing road accidents.
He said the association was well positioned to support efforts towards the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.
The NURTW President and the NATO President joined the FRSC Corps Marshal to distribute fliers to motorists encouraging them to always respect the rights of other road users.
