Eid al-Adha: Kalu Urges Nigerians To Embrace Sacrifice, Unity

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has urged Muslims to pray for peace, stability and the continued progress of the nation as they celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha.

In his Sallah message, Kalu called on Nigerians to let the lessons of Eid al-Adha sacrifice, obedience and faith guide their daily lives.

He further urged citizens to embrace compassion and extend generosity to one another, especially to the poor, vulnerable and less privileged, while also praying for wisdom and guidance for leaders at all levels.

“Let us rise above divisions, put Nigeria first, and work together in unity for a prosperous and secure nation,” he said.

Kalu wished all Muslims a joyful and blessed Eid al-Adha celebration.
