Nigerian students have been urged to cooperate with the Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration to deliver its promises in the education sector.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Students Engagement, Comrade Asefon Sunday made the call while on a working visit to the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike, Abakaliki and Ebonyi State University.

A statement signed by him in Abuja explains that President Tinubu places top priority on education and youth development.

“The priority placed on education and youth development by the federal government underscores the commitment of the federal government to build a better future for Nigeria,” he added.

“it’s therefore pertinent we cooperate with Government to deliver on her promises and plans for Nigerian students and the educational sector.”

“Yesterday, I paid a working visit to Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and Ebonyi State University, it was an amazing experience with Nigerian Students on both campuses after a brief interaction with the respective Management team of both citadels of learning”.

“I inspected the security arrangement for students on campus including their accommodation facilities” he noted.

According to the statement the essence of the visit was to brief the students on series of achievements in the sector so far especially aadvantages of the students loan approved by the President.

“It was an avenue to expose the students on advantages of the newly approved Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) also known as the students loan program of the Federal Government, or the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the education sector”.
