NCPC Commits To Efficient 2024 Christian Pilgrimage

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has warned ground handlers and airlines against contravening standards ahead of the forthcoming pilgrimage.

The Executive Secretary who stated this during a visit by the Acting Director of the FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Rahila Isa-Baita emphasised that there would be stiffer penalties for defaulters as the commission would partner only those who are ready to work and project a positive image of the country.

The NCPC Boss said the commission would not compromise as efficient service is expected for Nigerians during the spiritual exercise.

Bishop Adegbite also explained that dollar cards would be used during the exercise on Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and Point of Sales (POS) devices, in line with the new directive of the Central Bank of Nigeria rather than dollar bills.

Due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, Jerusalem has been excluded from the forthcoming pilgrimage which would be observed in Greece and Rome.
