Tinubu Administration Will Enhance Economic Empowerment Of Artisans- Iyaloja

The Iyaloja-General of Nigeria and Chairperson, National Market Council of Nigeria (NAMCON), Dr Folashade Tinubu-Ojo has assured artisans across the country of enhanced economic progress under President Tinubu’s Administration.

Dr. Folashade gave the assurance in Abuja when she received in audience, the national leadership of the Building and Construction Artisans Association of Nigeria (BACSAAN), led by its national president, Alhaji Fasasi Muhammad-Jamiu.

The Iyaloja who is also President Tinubu’s daughter, noted the importance of artisans in lubricating the nation’s economy up to the grassroots.

Dr Folashade explained that President Tinubu recognizes the relevance of artisans to the growth of the economy and was already exploring ways to empower them across the country.

According to the Iyaloja, one of the ways being considered by President Tinubu was to expose the artisans to training to enhance their capacity in line with modern trends in their trades.

The move according to her was to enhance their service delivery and economic empowerment by helping them improve the quality of their services.

Dr. Folashade appreciated the artisans for visiting her as a gesture of goodwill to the Administration of President Tinubu.

She assured them of her support in promoting their interest and wellbeing.

The BACSAAN National President, Muhammad-Jamiu assured the Iyaloja of the support of artisans to the administration of President Tinubu.

The BACSAAN leader was accompanied on the visit by the association’s representatives from the six geo-political zones of the country.
