Nigerians have been urged to rely solely on God for timely intervention in the present challenges in the country.
The Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Garki Abuja, Reverend Tom Takpatore gave the advise during a program to end the twenty one day fasting and prayers for the country and members of the Church this year.
Reverend Takpatore noted that the present state of insecurity, economic meltdown and poverty in the country are beyond what the government alone can address.
According to him, it will take the collective prayers of righteous Christains to bring the country out of these predicaments.
Also speaking, leader of the women group, Pastor Adenike Takpatore said the annual program was to seek the face of God for Divine intervention in the year 2024.
Pastor Adenike Takpatore expressed belief that the country would experience rapid development and Peace this year.
The theme for the annual program is “Super Abundance” with all members of the church including children dressed in white.
