Chelsea Contacts Napoli For Victor Osimhen’s Signing

Victor Osimhen has admitted he has ‘already made up’ his mind about the next step in his career, with the Napoli striker strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer.

Osimhen has established himself as arguably the most coveted striker in Europe, having led Napoli to the Serie A title last season with 26 goals in 32 games

The 25-year-old has continued his fine form into this campaign despite Napoli’s struggles by scoring seven goals in 11 starts and he recently penned a new contract with the Italian side which is believed to contain a release clause of more than €100 million.

Osimhen has been somewhat candid over his future and told CBS Sports that his goal was to finish the season strongly before confirming the decision he has ‘already made’.

“At the end of the season, I think I already made up my mind,” Osimhen said. “I already know what I wanna do with my career, since I’ve started, I’ve been the one taking my own decision and everything is working out well for me. Even though when I started it, it didn’t go so well as planned.

“But I already have my plan, I already know what I want to do, the next step I want to take. So for now I just want to finish the season strong, go relax somewhere with my daughter, and then finally come up with the decision I’ve already made.”
