Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba says the birth of Jesus Christ is to reconcile Christians to God and bring peace to mankind.
Addressing the congregation during the Christmas Service at the Cathedral Church of Advent, Life Camp Abuja, Most Reverend Ndukuba said the essence of Christmas is for Christians to show love to one another and promote peaceful coexistence.
He urged wealthy individuals, leaders at all levels to remember the less privileged and put their followers at heart as exhibited by Jesus Christ.
The Anglican Primate said though the economic situation in the country was biting hard on citizens, the Federal Government should take measures to ameliorate the plight of citizens.
Most Reverend Ndukuba believes that if Corruption and selfishness among leaders are addressed it would assist in the realization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.
He stressed the need for political office holders to use their positions to enhance the living standards of the people.
