AMAC Begins Rehabilitation Of Mabushi Township Road

The Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, Christopher Maikalangu, has performed the ground breaking ceremony to mark the commencement for rehabilitation of Mabushi township road.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony, Maikalangu said the project was part of his administration’s commitment to meet the yearnings of the electorates.

He said there was need for AMAC residents to enjoy the dividends of democracy and feel the impact of good governance within their various communities.

He however added that providing basic infrastructure was necessary to make life easy for residents and motivate them to carry out their civic responsibilities without stress.

Maikalangu stressed that his administration’s focus has been more on road construction, rural electrification, water and educational development, among others adding that construction and completion of over 10 asphalt roads in the 12 political wards of the Area Council are awaiting commissioning.

In a reaction, the Chief of Mabushi, Hassan Dangana Mabushi commended the chairman for bringing such a development to the residents of the area adding that it will go a long way in boosting economic activities.

He however assured the AMAC Boss, of all the needed support towards achieving the desired result.
