FRCN Celebrates Staff As He Bows Out Of Service

The News and Current Affairs Department of the Federal Raadio Corporation of Nigeria Abuja Operations today sent off one of its Principal Reporters, Mr Anosike Ohuka after attaining sixty years.

Speaking during the send off, which took place in Radio House, Garki Abuja, the Director, Abuja Operations, Alhaja Sherifat Ahmed reminded staff on the need to ensure efficient service delivery at all times.

While wishing the retiree all the best in his future endeavours, Alhaja Sherifat Ahmed advised journalists to always abide by the code of ethics of the profession.

Earlier, the Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs of the Station, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi described Anosike Ohuka as a dedicated staff who contributed his quota to the progress of the Station.

Other Staff of the News and Current Affairs Department who took turns to eulogize the retiree prayed God to keep him in good health as he begins his retirement.

In a vote of thanks, the Celebrant appreciated his colleagues and management staff of Radio Nigeria Abuja Operations for the opportunity given to him to serve.

Highlight of the send-off was the presentation of gifts to the retiree.
