A former Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, says Nigeria has remained an indivisible entity despite the negative forces working against it.

Ugwumba Nwosu stated this while featuring on “Politics Today” a Kapital FM current Affairs programme in Abuja.

Speaking on the topic “Nigeria at 63: the Youth and Purposeful Nation” Nwosu stressed that despite various challenges bedeviling the nation, she has recorded successes and continental recognition in many areas.

Speaking on the youths becoming the leaders of tomorrow, Nwosu who is an APC stalwart disagreed with the phrase that “youths are future leaders” but emphasized that the time has come for the young people to be at the frontline to Pilot the Affairs of the nation while the elders give them counsel.

Ugwumba Nwosu who called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in prayers to move Nigeria to her next level also urged Nigerians to express gratitude to God for keeping the country in unity noting that many countries have disintegrated but Nigeria has remained indivisible.

That is why we are praying that the incumbent presidentt, Ahmed Bola Tinubu should do everything possible to redirect the country to prosperity so that after four years Nigerias will say that we have a president who has changed the narrative in this country” he added.

He believed that though Nigeria has come a long way, there’s still more to be done for sustainable development.

Ugwumba Nwosu further explained that what Nigerians need from their leaders is sincerity of purpose by providing the dividends of democracy.

You can not have a nation where we have all the Natural resources and we still cry of unemployment, hunger, food, insecurity is not acceptable” Nwosu emphasized.
