The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, in line with its mandate and as the official liquidator of failed banks in the country, says depositors and ex staff of defunct Peak Merchant Bank will be paid their liquidation dividends as it has concluded preparations.
This is contained in a statement by the Director of Communications and Public Affairs of the NDIC, Mallam Bashir Nuhu.
The statement explains that there will be a verification exercise that would enable depositors of the defunct bank to cross check and ascertain their account information as well as balances with the bank as at closure.
The NDIC is calling on stakeholders of the defunct bank to visit any of its offices across the country or its website on www.ndic.gov.ng for the verification of their claims, which commences from 18th of September to the 16th of October 2023.
