Insurance : NAICOM Carries Out Sensitization In Nasarawa

The Commissioner for insurance, Mr Olurundare Sunday Thomas and a delegation from the National Insurance Commission, have paid a visit to the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule to intimate him and members of his executive council on the benefits of insurances.

In a statement, the Commissioner of Insurance explains that the visit is part of the National Insurance Commission’s drive to sensitize stakeholders on the benefits of compulsory insurances such as Public Buildings and Buildings Under Construction, Third Party Motor Insurances amongst others.

The statement notes that Mr Thomas also used the opportunity to formally invite the Governor to the National Insurance Conference scheduled to hold from 22-24 October, 2023.

In his remarks, the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule while urging Nigerians to insure their assets, reiterates the importance of insurance as it safe guards and cushions the effects of loss of property.
