Kogi Govt To Begin Repairs On Ganaja-Ajaokuta Road

Kogi State Government has expressed its readiness to urgently begin repairs on the deplorable Ganaja- Ajaokuta road.

The State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Samson Bako gave the assurance in Lokoja when Executives of the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria,TOAN, Ganaja branch, Ajaokuta local government area paid him a visit.

Mr.Bako said that the governor has directed the state ministry of Works to deploy the Kogi State Road Management Agency, KOGROMA, for immediate work to commence on the federal road.

Earlier, Chairman of the Association, Mr Ahmed Sadiq appealed to the state government to come to their aid in rehabilitating the badly affected portion of the Ganaja road due to the fact that if urgent attention was not taken, vehicles will not be able to ply the road in the next one month.

Mr. Sadiq extended his appreciation to the state government for the quick response promised.
