The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC says it will introduce a saving scheme to enable more Nigerians embark on Pilgrimage to the holy land.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Reverend Yakubu Pam who made this known at a forum in Abuja said this became necessary to support government at ensuring more people were given opportunity to participate in the spiritual exercise.
The NCPC Boss stressed that the commission would continue to appeal to wealthy individuals and corporate organizations in sponsoring those yearning for spiritual upliftment in Israel, Jordan and Rome.
According to him the commission will not also relent in promoting unity and peace for the nation to remain an indivisible entity.
While commending the commitment of the organisation’s staff, Reverend Yakubu Pam urged civil servants to be more dedicated to their duties saying that no administration can succeed without the cooperation and support of its workforce.
Reverend Pam urged Nigerians to always pray for God’s wisdom for the Bola Tinubu led administration to enable them lead the country to an enviable height in all ramifications.
In their separate good will messages, NCPC partners appreciated the Commission for its doggedness at ensuring the country participates in the yearly Pilgrimage.
Prayers were offered for the leadership of the nation and the executive Secretary as he clocks three years as the leader of the commission.
