Most recreational parks in the Federal Capital Territory, witnessed low turn out of fun seekers during the celebration of Eid el Kabir.

A visit to the Popular Shop Rite along Lubge- Airport road, also showed a low turn out of people compared with the previous Sallah celebrations, as only few people were seen catching fun with family members.

Also, a visit to magicland, further revealed the harsh economic realities.

Hajiya Zainab Mohammed who thanked God for the gift of life to witness the Sallah celebration, appealed to the Federal Government to put measures in place to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal .

Another Muslim faithful, Mr Isah Abdulahi, expressed confidence that Nigeria will rise again.

The low turnout of fun seekers was not different at the millennium and Unity Parks, as most of the photographers and snacks sellers at the parks decried low patronage.
