The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has felicitated with Muslims on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

CAN President, Most Reverend Daniel Okoh in a statement in Abuja says the celebration signifies the values of sacrifice, love and obedience exhibited by the Holy Prophet.

Most Reverend Okoh uses the occasion to call on Nigerians to embrace peace, unity, and love for one another.

According to the statement, Nigeria can achieve its full potential if we put aside our differences and work together to build a stronger, more united, and prosperous nation.

The CAN president also urges Muslim brothers and sisters to use this occasion to pray for the peace and prosperity of the country.

The statement stresses the need for Nigerians to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for leaders at all levels as they steer the affairs of our nation.

The national umbrella of the Christain body reiterates commitment to promoting religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians.
