Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun said he “definitely won’t go on loan again” after helping the United States win the Concacaf Nations League.
The 21-year-old, who switched international allegiance from England last month, scored in his second game for the USA to seal a 2-0 win against Canada on Sunday.
Balogun scored 21 goals in a breakthrough season on loan at Reims.
Meanwhile, Wolves have agreed a 55m euro (£47m) deal to sell captain Ruben Neves to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.
The 26-year-old Portuguese midfielder Neves had a year left on his contract.
He said at the end of last season he was ambitious amid interest from Barcelona.

However, Barca have not been able to come up with an acceptable offer and Neves has taken the option of becoming the latest big-name player to join the Saudi league.
In a confirm deal, Real Madrid have signed Spain international Joselu on a season-long loan from Espanyol, with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Joselu, 33, was La Liga’s third-highest scorer last season, with 16 goals, despite his side being relegated.
The former Stoke City and Newcastle United forward also scored in Spain’s winning Nations League campaign.
His signing follows the departure of Real striker Karim Benzema who joined Saudi Arabia club Al-Ittihad.
Real are looking to fill the void left by the Ballon d’Or-winning French forward, who was their second-highest scorer of all time.
