The House of Representatives has confirmed Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede as the Chief of Army Staff, COAS. The approval followed the presentation of a report by Babajimi Benson, chairman of the Committee on Defense. Ekiti-born Oluyede was screened by the Joint Committee on Army and defence.
