Ambassadors : Process Of Securing Agreement From Host Countries In Progress – Ebienfa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the process of securing agrément from host countries for Nigeria’s Ambassadors-designate is progressing steadily.

A statement by the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa, confirms that approvals have so far been received from several countries, including the United Kingdom, France, the United States of America, Ireland, Qatar, Benin Republic, Ethiopia/Djibouti, Senegal and Sierra Leone, among others.

The Ministry adds that the date for the induction ceremony of the Ambassadors-designate will be announced once it is finalised and confirmed by the Presidency.

The statement reiterates the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s diplomatic engagements and international relations.
