The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC says it has restricted the movement of not less than Ninety Six Articulated Vehicles during the peak periods in the Day Two of the ongoing Operation Safe Kugbo in the Federal Capital Territory FCT.
FCT Sector Commander of FRSC Mr Felix Theman while updating newsmen in Abuja said the Operation is an initiative towards mitigating Road Traffic Crash by restricting movement of articulated vehicles/trucks in line with provision of Section 223 of the National Road Traffic Regulations.

According to him, the Enforcement Campaign is also aimed at improving Free flow of traffic and reducing accidents involving articulated vehicles along the busy Kugbo outbound corridor in the Federal Capital Territory.
The FCT Sector Commander therefore urged operators of heavy duty vehicles to comply with the restrictions noting that sustained enforcement under Operation Safe Kugbo remains a key measure to ensure safer and more efficient movement within the Federal Capital Territory.
