Unpatriotic Nigerians Against Crude Oil Pipeline Protection, Environmental Pollution

A Human Rights Lawyer and Activist, Adeyanju has alleged that some powerful groups are working against the effort of the former Niger Delta militant leader Ekpemupolo popularly known as Tompolo who has been committed to fighting crude oil theft and environmental protection in the region.

Adeyanju, had earlier condemned the current price hike in PMS, otherwise known as the Premium Motor Spirit describing the situation as unbearable for commuters and residents who needs to go about their daily activities for survival.

Adeyanju, who made the call in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja, said the current situation has brought an untold hardship making life more difficult for ordinary Nigerians.

“The 3 types of people against the Tompolo contract to prevent crude oil theft & environmental pollution in the Niger Delta are some unpatriotic security officers and oil bunkers.”

“Because the former people given the contract couldn’t protect the pipelines leading to its production to drop to 300k barrels per day.

“And those are Blackmailers who want a taste of Tompolo’s money who has remained committed to ensuring that Nigeria’s oil pipelines are not vandalized for national development.”

‘I hereby call on the Dangote refinery and other major oil stakeholders to ensure that our oil pipelines are adequately protected for more efficiency to meet President Tinubu’s renewed hope Agenda for all Nigerians.
