FCT : About 1000 Youths, Women To Be Trained In Various Skills

About one thousand youths and women are to be trained on difference skills acquisition in the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory.

The Director, Training in the National Directorate of Employment, NDE Doctor Hassan Abdulkareem made this known at a forum in Gwagwalada Abuja.

Dr. Abdulkareem said the move became necessary to reduce unemployment in the Territory.

Earlier, the organizer of the forum, Mrs Patience Ardey stressed the need for Government at all levels to always give priority to youth and women empowerment.

Other speakers at the forum advised corporate bodies and organizations to compliment the efforts of Government on job creation and poverty reduction in the country.
