FCT 2026 : AMAC SDP Chairmanship Candidate Wants Residents To Participate

The Abuja Municipal Area Council Chairmanship Candidate for the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Mr Obinna Simon has called on the electorates to come out en- mass for the Area Council election and vote a corrupt free candidate for greater development of the area council.

Mr Obinna who made the call while speaking with newsmen in Abuja explained that AMAC is the host of most government offices as well as the seat of power hence it deserves a credible leader with wealth of experience.

The SDP AMAC Chairmanship Candidate called on security agencies to work closely with the Traditional institution in AMAC to get rid of all forms of crimes and other security challenges.

Mr Obinna decried lack of government presence especially in the health and education sectors in rural areas noting that the time has come for change if given a chance.

He expressed the party’s readiness to cooperate with all stakeholders in AMAC to ensure that democratic principles thrive for better development of the country.
