FCTA Releases Special Phone Numbers For Reporting Uncleared Refuse

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, has released four dedicated telephone numbers for residents of FCT, to report incidents of uncleared refuse in their areas.

The initiative is aimed at tackling the growing waste management challenge in the FCT and ensuring that waste management contractors carry out their responsibilities promptly and effectively.

Speaking on the development, the Senior Special Assistant to the FCT Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, Mr Lere Olayinka, urged residents to actively participate by sending clear pictures and videos of uncleared refuse to the designated numbers via WhatsApp.

He emphasized that residents should clearly indicate the exact location where the refuse is found, to enable the Administration to identify the contractors responsible and take swift corrective action.

The four dedicated contact WhatsApp numbers are 08038643087, 07011073406, 07011255710, and 09114843425.

The FCTA reassures residents of its commitment to maintaining a clean, healthy, and environmentally sustainable capital city and encourages public cooperation in achieving this goal.
