Baptist Cleric Advocates Measures For Hitch Free Yuletide

First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja has held its 2025 Christmas Carol.

The Carol which featured lessons from the Bible, hymns and prayers of thanksgiving witnessed special numbers from the Church’s Children’s Department’s Choir, WMU Choir and Victory International Choir.

In a message, the Minister in charge of the Church, Reverend Deji Oyelami described the birth of Jesus Christ as the best gift to mankind.

Reverend Oyelami therefore advised christians to always emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ in their endeavours.

He therefore stressed the need for them to always shun acts detrimental to the true essence of Christmas and be committed to the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He used the opportunity to appeal to the Federal Government to put in place necessary measures that would ensure a hitch free Christmas celebration nationwide.

The Baptist Cleric equally emphasized the need for policies that would cushion the effects of economic challenges in the country.

While wishing the congregation a Merry Christmas in advance, Reverend Deji Oyelami admonished wealthy christians to remember the needy before, during, and after the yuletide.
