Wike Reinstates Education Mandate Secretary, FCT-IRS Acting Chairman

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has reinstated the Mandate Secretary for Education, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, and the Acting Executive Chairman of the FCT Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Mr. Michael Ango.

Their reinstatement was announced in a statement issued on Wednesday by the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.

Dr. Hayyo and Mr. Ango had earlier been suspended by the FCT Administration as part of measures to address issues of discipline within the service.

In approving their return, the Minister reiterated that acts of indiscipline would not be tolerated among officials of the FCTA.

Consequently, Wike directed both officials to resume their duties with immediate effect.
