Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba wants Security Agencies to be more proactive in addressing insecurity following President Tinubu’s declaration on state of emergency on security.
Addressing the congregation at the annual Abuja Anglican Diocesan Carnival For Christ, most Reverend Henry Ndukuba commended the steps taken by the President to check the spate of insecurity in the country.
According to him, security agencies must ensure that the right citizens are recruited into the service and adequate deployment be made to high-risk areas with the needed logistics to operate.
He condemned the recent killings, especially the Kaduna Anglican Priest, and called on security agencies to redouble their efforts toward securing the release of innocent Nigerians presently in the Kidnappers den.

The Anglican Primate, however, appealed to Christians not to use the Christmas season to embark on unnecessary journeys considering the current security situation in the country.
He also stressed the need for Christians to be mindful of their spending during the season to avoid unnecessary financial difficulties in early 2026.
The clergyman also emphasized the need for wealthy individuals to assist the less privileged in the society and put a smile on the faces of the down trodden.
Speaking on the theme of the Carnival: Break Up Your Fallow Ground, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba admonished Nigerians to look inward and utilize every godly opportunity to make the country grow.
According to him, there are many untapped available resources that can be used to develop individuals and the country at large.
The 2025 Carnival For Christ brought together Anglican members in the Eight Archdeconries of Abuja Diocese.
A free medical outreach was also conducted during the programme.
