SDP Mourns Mother-inlaw of it’s 2023 Presidential Candidate,

The Social Democratic Party, SDP, has commiserated with its 2023 presidential candidate, Prince Adewole Adebayo, over the death of his mother-in-law, Mama Margaret Omugbe.

The Acting National Chairman of the Party, Dr. Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe, conveyed the condolence on behalf of the National Working Committee and members of the Party nationwide.

A statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, describes Mama Margaret Omugbe as a devoted Christian and community leader who lived a life of love, compassion and service to humanity.

The statement says she will be remembered for the many lives she touched, and for raising illustrious children, including Queen Lilian Adebayo, wife of Prince Adewole Adebayo.

According to the statement, the SDP prays for the repose of her soul and for God to grant the Adebayo and Omugbe families the strength to bear the loss.
